Types of Pianos We Move
At 3 Men Movers, we handle these types of pianos:
- Upright pianos: Tall, vertical, compact design, usually 300-500 lbs
- Baby grand pianos: Smaller grand, about 4.5-6 feet long, weighing 500-600 lbs
- Digital pianos: Portable, lightweight, usually up to 60 lbs
Limitations and Special Conditions
- We do not move grand pianos or pianos out of state.
- Baby grand pianos are moved ground floor to ground floor only.
- Upright pianos can be moved up or down stairs.

Alex and his team were AMAZING!!! I would ALWAYS recommend 3 Men Movers to ANYONE that is moving anywhere. I have used them three times now. They are extremely fast, professional, nice, courteous, and I cannot say more polite things about this company. I know this sounds fake but I'm not making it up. You pay for what you get here and this last job was extremely cheaper than I had expected and I'm was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at how speedy Alex and his team were. They wrapped my whole 1 bdrm Apt up (TONS of boxes) in 45 minutes, dropped some off at a storage location, then went to a second further location all in 2 hours and 45 minutes. This was an awesome experience. GREAT JOB GUYS 👏🏼 💪🏼 AND THANK YOU 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️!!!

Excellent customer service! I had problems with the delivery of my Pod being delayed. 3MenMovers were scheduled first thing the next day. No problem, Chance called me after hours at my request. He was understanding and empathetic and explained my options. He checked back in with me the next morning. Once my Pod was delivered, the move crew was there within 2 hours ! Quick and professional. My work also uses 3 Men Movers for in office furniture and file cabinet moves.

We include piano moving as part of our standard moving services at no additional cost, provided your piano meets specific conditions. Upright pianos can be moved up or down stairs, while baby grand pianos are limited to ground-floor moves. We start with clear communication and provide a detailed pre-move checklist, personalized rate confirmations, and crew assignments, so you know exactly what to expect.
